Q. Who is another photographer in your collective whose work you particularly admire?

M.L. Sean Berry….this guy’s work is incredible! He will get an idea for a shoot, then take that idea beyond what it first was. Sean works hard to get a great image; he will never settle for good.

Q. What onLOCATION destination are you most looking forward too?

M.L. Yosemite! I have never been that far west before. I’ve also never experienced a sunrise or sunset among great mountains and trees like those in the Yosemite National Park, so I’m ecstatic to be going out.

Q. What are some tips/advice you would give to yourself if you started photography all over again?

M.L. To not compare my work to others — no one will ever be me.

Q. Do you take photos more for yourself—or for others?

M.L. For myself mostly. I am all about having incredible new experiences, and I want to create something to look back on whenever I am no longer able to go out adventuring as much.

Q. What first drew you to The onLocation Collective?

M.L. Before OnLocation Collective even had a name, a group of us just wanted to go on adventures. For me, friendships are one thing that will carry me throughout life — through good times and bad. The collective is made up of just that….friends who want to travel together.
